A feedback control system with the configuration of Figure has the following parameters: Kp = 0.5 V/rad, Ka = 100 V/V, Km = 2.7 × 10-4 N·m/V, J = 1.5 × 10-5 kg·m2 , and F = 2 × 10-4 kg·m2 /s.
(a) With an applied step-input command, describe the dynamic response of the system, assuming the system to be initially at rest.
(b) Find the position lag error in radians, if the load disturbance of 1.5×10-3 N·m is present on the system when the step command is applied.
(c) In order that the position lag error of part (b) be no greater than 0.025 rad, determine the new amplifier gain.
(d) Evaluate the damping ratio for the gain of part (c) and the corresponding percent maximum overshoot.
(e) With the gain of part (c), in order to have the percent maximum overshoot not to exceed 25%, find the value of the output-rate gain factor.
NOR Gate NOR means NOT OR . it complements the output of an OR gate. The symbol of Nor gate in fig. (a) shows that a Nor gate comprises of an OR gate followed by a N
The resistance of a 5 m length of wire is 600Ω.Determine: a) the resistance of an 8 m length of the same wire, b) the length of the same wire when the resistance is 420Ω
Q. Schematic Diagram of LED based System ? As shown in the two schematic diagrams above, the LEDs in a seven-segment display are not isolated from each other. Rather, eith
Q. Data transmission in Bus Topology ? Bus Topology:This topology shares a single path or link way among all users. This common single path way is called bus. In this topology,
(a) Illustrate the concept of Part Families ? (b) Explain briefly the general process to solve the problem of grouping the parts into families.
Q. If a feeder circuit-breaker trips, what action is needed? Ans: First isolate the faulty feeder check the faulty area on which fault the breaker was tripped (open circuit,
