Describe incremental approach to orderly acceptance testing, Project Management

Assignment Help:

Describe the incremental approach to orderly acceptance testing.

Acceptance test:

The users are invited to perform an acceptance test to check which what they have asked for into the Requirements Specification has been given. Frequently, the users need help by the business or systems analysts within performing these tests and the project manager may also become included to manage the process; to make sure, for illustration, that the users do not introduce in the tests any criteria which were not mentioned into the Requirements Specification.

Sometimes, due to overruns in earlier stages, this is essential to merge the system and acceptance tests. Even though unavoidable, it is not desirable as, by definition, each of the ‘bugs’ will not have been removed before the system testing (which, after all, is the point of this) and too various problems can undermine the users’ confidence within their modern system.
