Define Changes associated with the skeletal system - Ageing?
Skeletal bone loss occurs with ageing and may have serious consequences among the elderly. With ageing, there is some thinning of bone tissues due to the loss of these minerals. In some elderly, there is an abnormal thinning of bone tissue and as a result, osteoporosis develops. Osteoporosis, as you would know, is the condition in which the bones become weak und porous, prone to easy, fractures.
