Characteristics of vector drawings, Computer Graphics

Assignment Help:

Characteristics of vector drawings: Vector drawings are generally pretty small files as they include only data about the Bezier curves which form the drawing. The EPS-file format which is frequently used to store vector drawings comprises a bitmap preview image along the Bezier data.

The file size of this preview image is generally larger than the real Bezier data themselves.

Vector drawings can usually be scaled without any loss in feature. It makes them perfect for company logos, maps or the other objects which have to be resized frequently.
