Semi-synthetic polymers

Rayon and other cellulose derivatives such as cellulose nitrate, cellulose acetate so on, are semi-synthetic polymers. These illustrated as thermoplastic polymers. Viscose rayon in the kind of a thin transparent layer is termed as cellophane. Cellophane is turns into softer with glycerol. Not similar to plastic sheets it takes up water.
