We all agree that murdering people is morally wrong under usual circumstances (i.e. not self-defense, not wartime killing, etc). But one central question in ethics is "why" - what makes it wrong? Another thing to consider - are there any circumstances when it is it also morally wrong to kill a (non-human) animal? When? If you think it is always OK to kill animals, why do you think that?
