I. Create your own short story. It can be based on a personal experience, or it can be completely original. The story must not include copied material.

II. When writing your story, remember to include the basic elements that we have studied.

A. Setting: Write a brief description of the place and time in which your story takes place.

B. Characters: Your story must have at least one main character and one or more secondary characters. You must give these characters specific and identifiable traits. It is recommended to write a brief description of each character when you introduce them or include their characteristics at different moments in the story.

C. Plot: Your story must have an introduction, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.
