Do the following:

• Interview one person currently employed in Canada to find out about their organization's expectations about effective intercultural communication. You can complete the interviews any time during the course. It is recommended that you complete them between Weeks 9 and 12.

• Use the information got from the interview, and the Reflection on Development, to identify areas for development.

• Come up with at least three specific goals related to these identified areas for development. Make sure your goals are measurable.

• Work out a concrete development plan for yourself based on these goals. Give yourself a realistic time-frame.

• You may present your development plan as a table, or as a paragraph of no more than 150 to 200 words.
