Establishing project governance is not a simple task. Significant investment needs to be made when embarking on a new project. It is often challenging to quantify what the benefits are when it comes to investing in the creation of the project governance framework. The following a four key points of project governance:

• Single point accountability;
• Outline roles, responsibilities and relationships among project stakeholders;
• Issue management and resolution; and
• Information dissemination and transparent communication.
