Question: There has been a tremendous shift in the current educational paradigm and the role educators play in that paradigm. The teaching profession has changed dramatically over the past decade. Classrooms have a new look, chalkboards, tons of pre-copied worksheets, and overhead projectors are all little or to no existence. Today's educators must be flexible, able to navigate technology and implement effective instructional practices to meet educational expectations and reach a diverse audience. Ultimately, high expectations are placed on educators to manage a diversity of scholars, maintain engagement in classroom participation, and be prepared to maneuver any disruptions. To engage in an educational curriculum that involves various subjects, (Behizadeh, 2019), educators need robust and comprehensive theoretical tools. Effective teaching strategies must accommodate a diverse range of learners. Along with the demographic cultures of students, many students enter the classroom with more than a motivation to learn, but also, with special needs. However, the categories of students with special needs can range from specific disorders to behavioral disabilities, which in turn have a deficit to affect their students' academic and behavioral outcomes (Wiener et al., 2019). These deficits will have a huge impact on how the student learns and participates in the classroom. Another challenge for educators in today's classroom is staying up to date with the vast changes in technology. Trying to balance the notion of computer-based learning, an ongoing debate with students learning while engaged with computer advanced lessons having fun, or just playing games to pass time. On the other hand, principals play just as important a role in scholars learning as other supporting staff (Uribe et al., 2019). In essence, teachers sitting behind the desk and giving instructions until the end of the day are seen inside the classroom very little. Technology has transformed classrooms in a variety of ways to where teachers and students are actively learning together and utilizing effective instructional strategies for all students to have a positive learning experience.
