The MOX and Seawall Projects

We have discussed two types of terminations that can take place with projects, natural and unnatural termination. Natural termination ends with ordinary closures where projects reach their termination dates with an actual completion in mind known as Termination by Extinction. Unnatural terminations end for numerous reasons. This assignment requires you to read two articles and to seek and use additional external sources to answer the questions below. Both projects are terminating for similar reasons.

Once you have read both articles, answer the following questions:

With each article you have read, based upon what we have learned with the termination of projects, which type of termination would describe the above projects and why?
Based upon the reasons which have caused these projects to reach the early termination level, create an action plan describing how the project can get back on track based upon the dilemmas each project has faced so far.
Compare and contrast the problems, symptoms, and causes each project has faced.
