With all of the mis/disinformation and the way that people use their large platforms to manipulate people's minds, it is extremely difficult to pick out and determine what information is factual. In addition, with how easily and quickly people are to accept mis/disinformation as true without second guessing, factual information will continue to become harder to find. As stated in Cooke's article, "It is now said that we live in a post-truth era-an era in which audiences are increasingly likely to believe information that appeals to their emotions and their personal beliefs, as opposed to seeking and accepting information that is regarded as factual and objective (Cooke, 2018)."
