What is the need for these interventions and what would the postive impact be please? 'I work for a charity organisation that has experience of providing a range of services aimed at serving the mental health needs of the town of Alston. Family breakdown and the need to reduce family conflict is needed. Alston is a multi-cultural area with high levels of low waged and insecure employment. I am aware of the cuts to local services in recent yearsmeaning that there are few facilities available for families. The local community centre offering free and reduced cost play activities has recently shut down. My aim to offer two interventions, parenting workshops to address relationship difficulties incorporating not just the individual but extended social contacts and community hubs to empower community members to voice their concerns to local government about the lack of services and recent cuts.
