Problem

An Aristotelian or classical argument's major purpose is to persuade the audience to accept the writer's viewpoint or problem by delivering a clear and logical argument supported by facts and reasoning. It is important to address the opposing viewpoints, but more important to present your own argument. The goal is to try and persuade the audience to accept the position. So, to do that I will need to spend more time presenting and backing up my thoughts with evidence to support it.

A concession helps the main claim of the essay by showing that you have considered other perspectives.
