1. Imagine you are in the process of writing an essay. So far in our course, we have discussed academic writing in-depth, and with this unit, you have written (or are currently writing) your first essay. How do you feel about your progress? Do you feel that you are mastering the skills of academic writing? To that end, how do you feel about your essay? Did you discover anything by going through the process of writing the essay? Of course, not all comparative exercises are successful. Do you feel that yours was? Did you learn something, or do you feel that you may have even taught the reader something?
