Two types of engine bearings were fabricated out of different compounds and tested in an experimental engine to measure how long it takes until they fail. The 35 Type I bearings lasted an average of 1.574 million engine cycles with an estimated standard  deviation of 0.34 million cycles. In the other group, 40 Type II bearings lasted an average of 1.796 million engine cycles with an estimated standard deviation 0.57 million cycles. Assuming that these times are independent and normally distributed, test whether there is a significant difference between the average breakdown times. Use a significance level of α = 0.05.
