A leading scientist noted that in attempting to solve major problems that confront our world today, we turn to those things that we do best. We use those things that we think will help us the most, and our strength is science and technology. A noted philosopher, however, has observed that almost all our major problems involve human behavior. Consequently, our major problems cannot be solved by science and technology.
