You are working with a family that is new to having nursing for their child. The child had a fever over the last day or so and they have been giving her Tylenol like the doctor told them to. You have a Tylenol Liquid order for one Tablespoon PO Q4 hrs PRN temp > 101. The family shows you where the medication is but they say they have lost that little cup that came with the bottle. They indicate that they have not been using a syringe or the cap to measure the med but have been using one of the Tablespoons from the silverware drawer. What actions as a nurse should you take?
