Question: Memo John Johnson is a sales associate for Always Be Closing Inc. (ABC). John hasn't closed a sale in two months and is desperate to close any sale. Without closing a sale before year-end, John will not reach his quota, will not get his bonus, and, most importantly, could be out of a job. John, however, was close to closing a couple of deals and feeling optimistic. Unfortunately, ABC was not as hopeful and not happy with John or anyone on the sales team. Despite the lack of sales in the current quarter (and the year for that matter), ABC still threw their annual Christmas party, which was a big hit with all the employees. The Christmas party offers the employees a chance to unwind and relax from the high stress of sales. As usual, there was plenty of food, good music, and, of course, an open bar.
