Question: When I look at differentiating my instruction and lessons to suit the needs of the students in my classroom, I first need to evaluate and identify the academic levels and individual needs of my students to make sure that I have a firm grasp on what they need during their academic day. can this mean that students need translation apps, word banks, or visuals in order to ensure that they can access and understand the material I front of them I would also group students together that may come from the same language backgrounds, to help with translations and to keep those assignments that are differentiated with those split groups? should one suggestion be to support students who are at a pre-emergent/emergent level while also challenging those who are at a high intermediate level is to pair these students up with one another and allow them to work with each other? Should students who are at a high-intermediate language level build on their proficiency by facilitating activities for pre-emergent/emergent level ELL's?
