Problem: Innovation Case Study - 2,500 words

Students will be required to write a 2500 word individual case study on an innovative Australian Sporting Organisation of their choice, focusing on how the organisation has demonstrated innovation and entrepreneurship.

Detailed instructions and materials will be made available to assist in the method to develop and write a case study, however the choice of organisation and sourcing of relevant support materials will be the responsibility of the student.

Students will need to demonstrate that they have put significant research into the organisation of choice, and show that they have an understanding of the effects that the innovations have had on the organisation.

The case study should also identify the following:

- Background of the organisation;

- Innovations implemented by the organisation;

- Why the innovation was needed;

- Where the innovations sit in relation to use throughout the industry;

- Outcomes as a result of implementing such innovations;

- Where to next for the organisation?

Linking the case study back to key topics covered throughout the subject, as well as relevant supporting material and citations will be essential.
