Locate the materials necessary to complete this assignment in the SOE edTPA Milestones* course in Canvas. There, you will be provided with assessment data from a hypothetical student teacher. The packet of material will include a unit of lesson plans, student work samples, pre- and post-test scores, etc. You will use these materials to complete the edTPA Task 3 Assessment Commentary.
Begin this assignment by reviewing the edTPA Handbook provided for your endorsement area. Candidates seeking middle childhood endorsements will use the Secondary materials for this assignment.
Next, review each of the provided sample edTPA portfolio items, paying particular attention to the Task 3 items. Items under Tasks 1 and 2 provide context for your assignment.
Assessment Commentary:
- Type your responses between the brackets [ ] using Arial 11-point font and single-spaced with 1" margins on all sides.
