Background

You are working for a company that is considering investing in a foreign country. Management has requested a report regarding the attractiveness of alternative countries based on a number of factors, such as the ease of doing business, the level of corruption, and the potential return of foreign direct investment.

Accordingly, the ranking of the top 10 countries in terms of these factors is a crucial ingredient for your report. A colleague mentioned some useful tools that would measure and rank countries in these terms:

1. The Doing Business Economy Rankings

2. The 2014 Corruption Perception Index**, and

3. The FDI Confidence index.
