Utilizing national, evidence-based guidelines is important to assure patients receive high quality care that reflects the most current recommendations. Based upon a patient case, choose a Common Adult Problem you will likely encounter as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) or acute care adult geriatric nurse practitioner (ACAGNP). You may wish to examine a disease that is common in your current clinical rotation. Incorporating evidence-based guidelines and clinical pearls, please develop a 'Clinical Summary' which will serve as resource tool or 'cheat sheet' in practice. You will share your Clinical Summary with the class. When creating the Clinical Summary of a common adult problem, incorporate the following:

1. Brief description of patients encountered in the clinical setting (i.e. why you chose this guideline)

2. List a National Standard of Care or Guidelines utilized
