Description: In this task, you are required to create a 6-minute video recording (including both audio and visual components) that demonstrates your emerging understanding of leadership and management in an early childhood education and care (ECEC) setting. The video should reflect critical and reflective thinking about your professional learning journey and your emerging identity as an early childhood professional.

Drawing on key frameworks and guiding documents, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Framework (NQF), the ECA Code of Ethics, and other relevant scholarly readings, you are expected to:

Identify and explain the leadership style and/or model you align with or aspire to adopt in an early childhood setting.

Articulate the professional commitments you make as a future early childhood teacher, particularly in relation to children, colleagues, and families.

Discuss the implications for practice, explaining how your leadership approach and ethical commitments will influence your everyday professional decisions, relationships, collaboration and practices within an early childhood setting.
