The primary purpose of the proposed quantitative correlational study is to explore the perception of the customers of the bank about the security of IB or OB.
This paper envisages the statement of purpose of the research study for investigating the perception of customers of banking institutions about the security of internet banking an online banking. It further states the purpose that the study will determine why customers are showing reluctance to use internet banking services. The paper briefly states the background explains the aspects of trust, security, reluctance, and security of information. Furthermore, it describes the lack of security on the part of clients while they engage in online transactions.
Quantitative Research Descriptions and Steps
ABSTRACT
This paper elaborates on quantitative research descriptions, steps, and designs coupled with the differences between quantitative and qualitative research. The mock study outlines there is a lack of trust displayed by a segment of customers regarding online banking as well as concerns about internet banking security. The purpose of the study is to explore underlying reasons for negative customer perceptions. While many quantitative research designs exist, correlational research is the most suited for the proposed study due to its cross-sectional format and identification of the relationship between variables. The adoption of a model testing correlational approach enables the formulation of a theory on customer perceptions of online banking and fills the existing research gap.
