Provide an example of content instruction (science, social studies, history, or math - your choice) that incorporates all language modalities (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), and uses/teaches rhetorical and discourse structures for various purposes. Be sure to indicate one of the above content areas, clearly explain how you would use it and identify how each of the four language modalities is integrated and developed, and the ESOL proficiency level of the students. Refer to the "Activity Ideas" in your textbook on pages 172-174 as a guide, BUT do NOT use them as your example. Keep in mind some of them can easily be transferred to another topic, but make sure you make sense. 

Incorporate an Informative rhetorical structure and discourse structure into your explanation.
