Assignment -Procurement Management Plan
Introduction:
A range of different contract types exist that may be used for procuring specific goods and services. Each has advantages and disadvantages compared with the others, but in general, and for a specific procurement strategy, one type is more appropriate than the others. For a final list of procurement packages identify which contract type, in your opinion, would be the most appropriate.
Task:
Prepare the Procurement Management Plan in the outline form for your project. This should reflect a brief summary of the Procurement Management Plan at the end of the contract planning stage of the procurement process (or lifecycle). Only produce sufficient detail to indicate how the contract documents will reflect the overall procurement strategy. Some of the headings to consider may include: Background, Objectives, Scope, WBS, Schedule and Milestones, Resources, etc. You may consult lesson notes or other sources for ideas to fit your project needs, specific scenario and procurement goals.
