Project Closure and Governance Report
1 PROJECT INFORMATION
A project end report is used during project closure to review how the project performed against the version of the Project Initiation Documentation (PID) used to authorise it.
It also allows the passing on of:
• Any lessons that can be usefully applied to other projects.
• Details of unfinished work, ongoing risks or potential product modifications to the group charged with future support of the project's products in their operational life.
Based on the case study documentation for the Heathrow Terminal 5 project listed in Moodle, and the additional articlebelow on problems encountered at operational opening, complete the requirements in this assignment.

The PMI Practice Guide on the Governance of Portfolios, Programs and Projects describes 4 governance domains: Alignment, risk, performance, and communications.
Each domain has the following functions: Oversight, control, integration, and decision making. (PMBOKp.44)
Based on the case study information provided, discuss 2 of the above functions of your choice in oneof the governance domains, how they were handled and how they could have been done differently to avoid the problems encountered at the start of operations on 27 March 2008 and the weeks thereafter, e.g. performance oversight and decision making.
7 PROJECT AUDIT
As part of the post-project audit for the House of Commons Transport Committee, you have been asked to comment on the clarity of the roles between the Senior User (BA) and the Executive (BAA) during the project, and if there were any misunderstandings, gaps or overlaps in these roles that contributed to the problems encountered on 27 March and thereafter.
