An article which is called Walking

https://thoreau.eserver.org/walking1.html it's only the first part of the article

Write an essay of 750 words about this article

To finish this assignment in my English we have to do 3 steps:
1- The proposal ( I did it )
2- The rough draft ( I'm stock here)
3- The final draft
I did the proposal and it's attached and know I'm stock with the rough draft. So you have the instructions for the rough draft.
These are the instructions the professor gave us for the article that you should follow.

For this essay, you will be required to perform a rhetorical analysis of "Walking" by Thoreau.

You will need to use our course rubric to evaluate the author's argumentation, while simultaneously keeping an eye towards following the rubric in your own writing. Essentially, you will need to make your own strong argument about whether or not the author is making a strong argument, and explain why in a clear, organized fashion!

To analyze a text means to examine its parts in relation to the whole. Evaluation is a form of analysis that judges the worth of a text. Rhetorical analysis centers on an author's purpose and determines whether or not it is achieved for the desired audience. This kind of analysis is evaluative because it focuses on authorial intent in relation to a desired audience, then judges (evaluates) the effectiveness of that text in aligning the two. When you do an Evaluative Rhetorical Analysis such as this, you look for how the classic persuasive modes (logos, pathos, ethos, and kairos) are in play within the text. Close analysis of these techniques helps you determine the author's purpose, desired audience, and ultimate effectiveness of the text. With rhetorical analysis, you are NOT saying whether or not you agree with the argument the author is making. Instead, you're discussing how the author makes that argument and whether or not the approach used is successful in relation to the target audience (Faulise, 1105 paper 1).
Please compose a brief (3-page 750 word) paper in which you offer your original claim and support that claim with evidence from your rhetorical analysis of your chosen text. Your rough and final drafts should be formatted according to MLA guidelines, which you can find at https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/

I should have the following information at this stage:
What main argument do you think the author is making in his article?
What supporting arguments do you think are most important to that main argument?
Who is he writing for?
How do we know?
What historical context does our reader need to know to understand this article?
Do you think the author does a good job making his argument? Why or why not?
Remember that your proposal should be in paragraph form, and should have citations and a Works Cited page.

The proposal that I did for the Walking article.

The article argued about many things to convince people what is right and what is wrong. The argument that impacted me and attracts my eyes was walking. Indeed , we need to walk on a daily base of life, so the circulation blood don't stop and we die. David was talking about walking as smoothing that is very important to us as human and we need to work on it. He compared the Western civilization and the Eastern civilization, and showed that the Australian people are unhealthy and suffering a lot from not walking at least half an hour a day. He gave a real evidence from his tour around the world he can demonstrate how important walking is. Also, he gave anecdotal real life experience on how walking can improve your health and life. He is talking to the majority of the society to motivate them to walk not set on a chair for the whole day. Additionally, ‘'When sometimes I am reminded that the mechanics and shopkeepers stay in their shops not only all the forenoon, but all the afternoon too, sitting with crossed legs, so many of them,-as if the legs were made to sit upon, and not to stand or walk upon,-I think that they deserve some credit for not having all committed suicide long ago.''

he said once how people can stand being setting on a chair for more than Six hours without moving an inch, they would be like they killed their legs and stopped the blood flooding in to it. I think that the undergrown Railroad would help the reader to understand what is the argument that David is talking about. Especially when it comes to explain the river and the side walk to help the slave to escape. The author made an outstanding argument to courage people to walk and get benefit. He clearly said that living in door would not give your body the strength he needs. Besides walking, the sun and the freedom will charge your body with positivity and bros.
