Although drinking water or other fluid is a simple solution to rehydrate this patient, our patient is unfortunately unable to drink any type of liquid. Now, using your critical thinking skills, and only information you have learned in the assigned Chapter and Module readings, above, describe two realistic actions, that can be taken to help this patient: 1. Name one way in which you can rehydrate the patient (besides providing any type of oral fluids) - how would this work?

AND 2. If methods to rehydrate are not available, name one way you could help prevent further dehydration in this patient - how would this work?
