Critical analysis of a Quality Master

Are the quality assurance ideas and methodologies introduced by the "Masters of Quality" still relevant? Developed decades ago, are they still applicable to modern business, especially with the development of e-commerce based businesses?

For this assignment, pick one of the Quality Masters and critically analyze whether the principles they introduced are still relevant today. Provide an overview of one of their main idea(s), describe the strengths and weaknesses of their main idea(s) then offer an analysis of why y ou agree o r disagree that their idea(s) are still important to modern organizations.

Part 1. Select one of the following Quality Masters:
• Edward Deming
• Joseph Juran
• Walter Shewhart
• Philip Crosby
• Kaoru (Karoru) Ishikawa
• Genichi Taguchi
• Armand Feigenbaum

Part 2. Your analysis must address:
• Overview of their main idea(s)
• Strengths and Weaknesses of their main idea(s)
• Agree/Disagree Analysis

Part 3. Your essay will be judged on:
• Overall appearance (grammar, logical flow)
• Bibliography of supporting articles (References must be directly cited in your analysis

Part 4. Your analysis must be 3 full pages minimum to 4 full pages maximum, excluding a supporting bibliography of a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 4 references. 12 font, single spaced.

Part 5. Hint: Most assignments that do well will have a structure - Having headings relevant to the grading criteria or an introduction/main analysis/conclusion will ensure you cover all the topics and can organize your thoughts logically.
