You may use:

• a real-life scenario of your own, or

• a case study, sourced from the literature or the internet, or

• the Mineco scenario from the Week 5 materials.

If you wish, you may use the questions about Mineco to inform your thinking and writing.

ASSESSMENT AIM:

The aim of this reflective essay is to invite you to reflect and apply.

Reflect on your knowledge and experience, both prior knowledge and current (new) knowledge.

ASSESSMENT TASK:

Prioritising your reflection, apply that reflection to a real-life scenario and explain how and what might have produced a better outcome.

TASK 1

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY INTRODUCTION ~ DESCRIPTION OF SITUATION

Provide a short description of the scenario. The emphasis should be on what happened within the project that caused the suboptimal outcome.
