Being a woman in the business world is hard enough, but a woman, starting a green microbusiness? How trendy can you get?

To start out with, let's get some definitions out of the way. Firstly, what is a Microbusiness? According to our friends at microbiz.org, "A micro-business is a firm with five or fewer employees is started for $50,000 or less and may not have access to traditional commercial loans." (microbiz.org) Microbusinesses currently account for 85% of businesses in the U.S.! (microbiz.org) This type of owner is your local farmer at the market, the lady making cookies and pies out of her kitchen, a husband-wife team selling real-estate, even the little kids with the lemon-aid stand! Just about anyone can start microbusiness, but they need to know why they want to.

So, just exactly how do you create a green startup business? There are many different ways to go about it, but here are basic steps you can take to get you started.
