Key points to writing a literature review include identifying keywords, searching from valid sources (the school's Hunt Library is a great source to find valid literature for this assignment), skimming the results of your topic to make sure there is enough information available before writing, read abstracts (not the whole paper at first) from the literature to see if it is what you need, summarize your initial results, put everything together and write the literature review, end the review with a summary (Creswell, 2014). You may want to review other literature reviews (examples) in the Hunt Library before starting to write your own to get a good idea of how to write one. Most detailed published research papers have a literature review in them.
