Goal: In an isolated host¬only VM lab (Kali attacker + Metasploitable2 target), discover targets, simulate a basic C2¬style interaction, run a quick vulnerability check, and produce a 1¬page summary + evidence using Linux administration and networking concepts.

Safety prerequisites (Read first)

1. Network: Use VirtualBox Host¬only network only (do NOT connect VMs to the Internet). This setup supports safe practice for Data Communication And Networking activities.

2. Authorization: Only run this lab in the provided lab environment.

3. VMs required:

- Kali Linux (attacker) has nmap, nc, wget, enum4linux.
- Metasploitable2 (target) intentionally vulnerable.
