Davenport, Harris and Cantrell (2004) indicated that "For organizations 
seeking to capture the original promise of enterprise solutions, this means they must; ...Integrate, Optimise, Informate". Discuss this concept and what it means in a company's ERP systems journey. 

Discuss the statement using case study examples (from literature searches) to demonstrate different company's experiences.Your paper should include the following areas: 

• What is meant by "Integrate" and the potential benefits. 
• What is meant by "Optimise" and the potential benefits. 
• What is meant by "Informate" and the potential benefits. 
• Identify the barriers companies experience in each of the value propositions 

Your task is produce a 3000 - 4000 word research paper which discusses the issues relating to the above. The paper should demonstrate a depth and breadth of reading and should be appropriately referenced.
