DISCUSSION 1 - How do our first impressions of others affect our behavior toward them? Think about how you would like people to view you as a professional, as a colleague, and as a potential employee at an interview. What kinds of behavior will you engage in to offer the best impression? Be as specific as possible in 200 to 300 words, and include at least two textbook references from the chapters you have read thus far.

DISCUSSION 2 - Think of a time (as an employee, as a customer at a store, or as a client to a business) when someone had to share information with you that negatively impacted you. Did the person who relayed the bad news to you do so in an effective manner? What could he or she have done differently to make you feel more positive about the situation? In 200 to 300 words, share your experience, applying what you learned about negative messages.
