Question:A growing part of NJ's economy is the renewable energy sector, with 200 companies involved in assessing and installing home energy systems. We decide to study the registered and licensed firms from the state's commercial businesses list to get a better understanding of their economic and social impact. We plan to interview 20 energy analysts from the firms and ask about characteristics of their businesses such as number of clients in the previous year, types of home energy audits (full/partial/superficial) conducted, types of renewable systems used (solar/wind/geothermal), and other features. a) Identify the Subjects of our study, the Population, and the Sample. Subject: The subjects of the study are the energy analysts from the registered and licensed firms in NJs renewable energy sector. Population: The population in the study is all 200 of the energy companies from all the registered and licensed firms in the NJ renewable energy sector. Sample: The sample is the 20 energy analysts from the firms. b) Suggest 3 Variables that we could measure from our Subjects, with one Variable for each level of measurement (Nominal, Ordinal, Interval)
