Assignment:

TASK 1: Install Windows Server 2016 and add ADDS and DNS

• Take a screenshot of the server manager with all the above-mentioned services.

TASK 2: How to create domain in the server called XXXXabc.com under the forest XXXXvit.edu.au (XXXX stands for your student ID)

• Take the screenshot of the forest as well as domain name.

TASK 3: Install Windows Deployment Services on Windows Server 2016 and deploy windows images (any windowsimage can be used) over network. To store your images and unattended.xml files, create the C:VIT-Images folder on Server. The Windows Server 2016 installation disk can be found in Lab Files folder in one drive.

• When you are installing Windows Deployment Services (WDS) role in Windows Server 2016 take screenshots of the installation process.

• When the Windows Deployment Services Configuration has been executed, take screen shots of the Windows Deployment Services Configuration Wizard.

• When the Windows Server 2016 image is added to WDS, take a screenshot of the Boot & Install Images node (such as ImageGroup1) showing the install images that have been added.

TASK 4: Configure the domain controller as DHCP server and create address scope for the same.
