I believe the PDC Tool should be used frequently based on what the needs are for the DCS, RBT'S, and BCBA. Each person has faces different barriers when working. This could be due to motivation, complexity of the tasks, performance concerns, and/or organizational concerns. Performance diagnostic tools is useful when hiring or beginning training as it can assess the baseline skills of the person and identify any gaps in training.

It should also be used when introducing a new protocol or intervention to ensure all team members understand and implement procedures consistently. Once this is done, the PDC-HS should be done regularly to monitor progress and maintain high performance. Keeping up with this well help be proactive and address any emerging concerns early on. Having regular PDC-HS done also makes the DCS or RBT's feel supported and not lost or left alone in the process.
