Format
Your annotations are to be prepared using the template grid, not as an essay with headings. This is the correct format to use
Important to distinguish between empirical and non-empirical (classification), and then what type of paper it actually. Some common types are below
Conceptual paper
Meta-analysis
Quantitative research paper
Qualitative research paper
Impact factor - start with how many times the paper has been cited
Article classification (academic conceptual, academic empirical) In one or a few words eg meta-analysis, literature review, empirical research, conceptual, historical etc.
Impact factor Choose appropriate impact factor - times cited
Aim/Purpose of article Text not exceeding 50 words.
(If a non-empirical paper) approach of author(s) Summary of structure and/or key content of article, not exceeding 50 words.
(If an empirical paper) research methodology employed (qual, quant, mixed methods); sampling strategy and sample size employed; context of study eg location, industry; method of data collection employed; method of analysis employed. Text not exceeding 150 words, with one sentence for each of the five parameters.
(If an empirical paper) research findings and conclusions drawn by researchers Text not exceeding 150 words.
Conclusions drawn by authors Text not exceeding 100 words.
