Write a 300-600 word paper including citations that addresses the following questions:

1. How do working conditions between 1930s and 1950 compare to working conditions today?

2. What was your career like in the 1930s-1950s? If it didn't exist, what type of job would you have had in the late 19th or early 20th century? How does that compare to the career you have planned today? 

Today I work for a large company in an office and have returned to school for Business Administration with Emphsis in Human Resources.

Ideas to consider:

  • What was the working environment like for your career type in the late 19th or early 20th century?
  • Where do you work today (outside, in an office building, etc)?
  • How would working conditions affect your health then and now?
  • How have race relations and civil rights changed your workplace? Are there women in your field? Are there people of all races? How would this compare to the 1930s?
