The issue brief was authored by an organization called Ethanol Across America whose goal is to "sustain a comprehensive education and outreach program to help consumers learn more about how crude oil imports and use impact their lives and the benefits of developing and using alternative fuels." This organization is a proponent of ethanol so their information could be biased. The article by Gallagher et al. was a report published by the Office of the Chief Economist of the USDA. What criteria would you use in determining whether an information source is unbiased?
