Case Study: Each of us carries our own biography with us that has been written by our experiences since childhood. Even if we were raised in the same geographical area, external factors make us each unique.
After reading your Chapter 2 in Between Worlds, think about the students in your class. You don't have to answer this question but I want you to think about it.... What do you really know about the ELL students in your class, them personally, who they are? If you are not yet teaching, think about this, what did your teachers really know about you, you personally, who you were?
