As you walk down the hall, you overhear two nurses in the program complaining that the nurses on the unit do things differently, so they feel unsure what to do. "This morning, my preceptor told me I was doing a central venous catheter access device (CVCAD) dressing change wrong, but I did what the preceptor who was with me yesterday told me to do. How are we supposed to know the right way to do things if different nurses are telling us different things?"
