HIV/AIDS has a high morbidity and rapid mortality rate when untreated. Although HIV disease and AIDS cannot yet be cured, the continued correct use of antiretroviral therapy allows HIV clients to live longer, healthier lives. As a nurse, you may be caring for a client at various stages of HIV disease. This activity will allow you to apply the nursing process to a client with HIV/AIDS.
