A package of frozen strawberries has been taken from the freezer which is at -25 oFahrenheit and placed on the counter in a room in which the temperature is 78o. Thirty minutes later the temperature has risen to 0o. The rate at which an object changes temperature is directly proportional to the difference in the temperature of the object and the temperature of the surrounding medium.
