A farmer with 680 ft of fencing wants to enclose a rectangular area and then divide it into 4 pens with fencing parallel to one side of the rectangle. Let x represent the length of each parallel side used to make the 4 pens and y be the length of the other 2 sides. Find the values of x and y needed to obtain the largest possible area of the 4 pens.
