Julie and Karen collected a large number of leaves for their art and craft project. The length of a leaf, L in centimetres, can be modelled by normal distribution with mean and standard deviation. the leaves were sorted accordingly ti their length. they found that 60% of the leaves were longer than 45cm and 15% of the leaves were shorter than 35cm. Find the values of mean and standard deviation. Also find the probability that the length of leaves defer from the mean by 1 standard deviation.
